Cancelled – Shropshire Senior Men’s County Trials

This year we have been drawn in the B Division of the Senior Men’s County Championships in the Isle of Man from Friday May 8th – Sunday 10th.  The others in the group are IOM, Cumbria and Northumberland.

IOM will pick up the bill for our transport to the island and the County have agreed to subsidise the squad as well.

We will be holding trials at Wrekin College in Wellington Telford starting on Tuesday April 7th at 7pm and then all Tuesdays in April, with a practice game to be arranged on Tuesday May 5th prior to traveling to the tournament.  There will be a training fee of £5 per session.  The cost of the week-end is still to be finalised but with the subsidy it will be reasonable.

Liam Hennessy and myself will lead the group; with Liam hoping to play as well

If anyone needs more details please contact Steve Floyd 07966 305857 or spfloyd30@gmail.com.

I look forward to seeing your players at the first training session at Wrekin College.

Many thanks

Steve Floyd
