A Structure Fit for the Future – Recommendations for the March 2020 England Hockey AGM.
England hockey is proposing to restructure the way hockey is delivered to continue the recent success for future generations.
They have put together a proposal of the way forward and have been sharing this at a number of events around the country.
They are now asking clubs and members to respond to the below survey to gain feedback on the proposals before they start the next phase.
Time to dig out your sticks and work on the fitness before the start of the new season or just fancy having trying a new sport and want to come and join our friendly club.
Wednesday August 14th 2019 – Men’s and Ladies Senior training starts 19.30 to 21.00 at Whitchurch Leisure Centre.

Despite not coming home with the prize for ‘Ladies team of the Year’ it was an absolutely fabulous night and we would like to thank England Hockey for all their efforts.
It was brilliant to be in a room surrounded by so many inspirational people who love the sport from grass roots level up to the international players who joined in the fun and really helped make everyone feel part of the hockey family.
A big thank you to Ian Sloan, England and GB player who sat on our table for the evening and made us feel very welcome, it was extremely interesting to get the views of a player playing at the highest level of the game.
I think everyone who went would like to go back again next year whether or not we get nominated and we hope next time to take many more along to this fantastic event.
